Payouts from slots on cruise ships, in my experience on 50 cruises, is that the percentage is VERY low, probably around 65% to 70%. If you don't want to lose your money, stick with the table games where wins cannot be manipulated by a computer.
Casinos are the biggest money makers for the cruise lines, so with that information, do YOU think they're going to rip you off? You bet. And when you see a sign that says '98% Payback', on a ring of slots, do you realize that not every machine has to pay that much out? By rule, they only need have ONE machine in that bank of machines that pays out the 98%. Do you honestly think that anyone in the know will tell their passengers that a slot machine only pays out less than 50%? No way. Payouts are the biggest kept secret in the industry. They do not let that kind of information out, and neither will the cruise lines. Let me ask you this? Do you know of ANY casino that will tell you all their slot payouts? NO, and a very big NO.
